PIE CRUST
Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
a little cold water
Directions
1 Mix dry ingredients together.
2 Cut butter into small chunks/pats and blend together until crust sticks together.
3 Add a little water and blend. Repeat until the crust no longer crumbles. (You shouldn't need more than 1/4 cup of water, total).
4 Halve the dough and wrap each in plastic wrap.
5 Stick them in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set.
